Rebecca J. (Mcfarland) Armison

Rushford --- Rebecca Jane Armison of 9817 Brookside Road went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 18, 2017 in Wyoming County Community Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility, Warsaw. She was born on August 11, 1944 in Warsaw, a daughter of the late Frank and Ernestine Austin McFarland. She married Lynn C. Armison, who survives, they were married for 53 years.

Rebecca was a member of the Rushford Baptist Church, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school, and the Western NY Draft Horse and Pony Club. She was a former book keeper for several area businesses for a number of years. She loved making quilts and wall hangings for her children and grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband are their children, Lee (Sandy) Armison of Stanley, Scott (Teresa) Armison of Rushford, Brian (Leah) Armison of Centerville, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a sister, Barb Cooley of Arizona, two special Aunts, two special friends, Laurie Sledge and Barb Nichols, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rushford Baptist Church. Pastor Jonathan Finley will officiate.
