Ritchie Edwin Harwood

Cuba --- Ritchie Edwin Harwood of 9993 County Road 7B passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024 in Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Wellsville. He was born on May 8, 1955 in Cuba, a son of the late George and Marie Vincent Harwood.

Ritchie was a former janitor for BOCES in Belmont and PWI in Wellsville. He attended Obi Community Church when he was able.

He enjoyed watching movies, listening to music and traveling when he could.

Surviving are his siblings, Larry Harwood of Rushford and Linda Harwood of Wellsville.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers, Bernard Harwood and Louis Harwood.

Family and friends may gather from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm. Jerry Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Hardy’s Corners Cemetery, Rushford.

A Celebration of Life for both Ritchie Harwood and Linda Harwood will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 3:00 pm in Rawson Baptist Church, 7627 Rawson Road, Cuba, New York 14727. Pastor Jerry Clark, Pastor Roy DeVries and Pastor Jeff Brooks will co-officiate.
