Robert Lawrence O'Connor

Nunda --- Robert Lawrence O’Connor, a former resident of Nunda, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. He was born on July 7, 1959 in Warsaw, a son of the late Alvis and Velma Buckley O’Connor.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Navy serving until 1992. He enjoyed listening to country music, watching old westerns, visiting with family and friends but most of all he loved his grandchildren and family.

Surviving are his children, Lester O’Connor of Houston, TX, Steffannie (Nate) Waring of Benton, TX, Jeffrey O’Connor of Hunt, James O’Connor of Pearland, TX, 10 grandchildren, a brother, Alvis (Tammy) O’Connor of Lamont, three sisters, Lori Christ of Pike, Sandy (Jim) Langley of Fayetteville, NC, Christine (David) Emke of Warsaw and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Harold O’Connor and two sisters, Rosemary Domroes and Louann VanName.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore. Pastor Bob Farnsworth will officiate.
