Fillmore --- Robert J. White of 79 W. Main Street died Wednesday February 28, 2018 in Olean General Hospital. He was born on November 6, 1950 in Fillmore, a son of the late Roger and Wilma Curry White. On August 16, 1969 in the Fillmore United Methodist Church he married his high school sweetheart Elizabeth Ann Hudson who survives.
He was a graduate of Fillmore Central School, class of 1969, and went to work with his father for Borelli Plumbing in Rochester. Afterward he started his own plumbing business in 1996 until his health forced him to retire. Bob enjoyed golfing and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Bob was full of life, loved his friends and family and will be dearly missed.
Surviving are two daughters, Stacy (Jerrid) Parmenter, Bobbie Jean (Scott) Willgens both of Fillmore, six grandchildren, Ashley James, Becky James, Bradley Parmenter, Tara Willgens, Emily Willgens, Tyler Willgens, his siblings, Louis (Jean) White of Short Tract, Roger (Carmella Hepworth) White of Fairport, Debbie White of Short Tract, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers, Mike White in 1972, Richard White in 2017 and a sister-in-law Cindy White in 2014.
Family and friends may gather from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Bill Lawson, pastor of the Fillmore Wesleyan Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Short Tract Cemetery, Short Tract.
