Rose Ann Lawrence

Swain --- Rose Ann Lawrence of 2250 County Road 24 passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, in her home. She was born on September 25, 1963, in Dansville, a daughter of the late Lyle and Anna Gascon Lawrence.

Rose was raised on a farm in Rushford and attended Rushford Central School. She was currently employed as a cook for the Sierra Inn in Swain and cleaned for the Swain Ski Resort.

She enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales, crafting, refurbishing old items and making them beautiful, spending time with her dog, B-Dog, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her daughters, Amber (Josh) Delude of Fillmore, Jillian White of Hunt, two grandsons, Isaac White, Jacob Delude, her siblings, John Lawrence of Ellicottville, Lynne (James Torrance) Maynard of Franklinville, Mary (Terry McMaster) Lawrence of Ellicottville, David Lawrence of Franklinville, Paul Lawrence of Swain, a brother-in-law, Ed Maynard of Bradford, PA and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her son, Shawn Lawrence.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the Short Tract Fire Hall.
