Roy L. Young

Rushford --- Roy Lee Young of 8937 Van Dusen Road died Sunday, November 20, 2016 in Olean General Hospital. He was born on February 13, 1946 in Cuba, a son of the late Daniel and Elsie Babbitt Young Sr. On May 1, 1982 he married Mary C. Williams who survives.

Roy was a bulk milk truck driver for 54 years working for several area businesses. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed coyote hunting with his son. Roy especially enjoyed his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Jeffrey (Debbie) Young of Rushford, Joseph (Griselle) Young of Lantana, FL, a daughter, Jennifer Young of Delevan, three step daughters, Cathy (Barry) Ashworth of Arcade, Renee (David) Mills of Pike, Amy (Mark) Sullivan of Belfast, 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a brother, Daniel (Lexia Du) Young of Geneseo.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother and a son.

There will be no visitation or services.
