Theodore "Ted" L. Taylor

Rushford---Theodore L. “Ted” Taylor of 8934 Lower Street, died Mon. February 4, 2019 in Bath VA Medical Center. He was born on May 7, 1928 in Rushford, a son of the late Silas and Stacia Luce Taylor. He married Esther I. Bliss who predeceased him on Jan. 28, 2008.

Ted was a United States Army Veteran serving from 1950 thru 1952 and tool and die maker for Motorola Co. in Arcade. He was a 70 year member of the Joseph Enos Lodge 318 of Rushford and was a past District Deputy. Ted also was a member of the Corning Consistory.

He was a lifetime member of the Rushford Fire Department and loved wood working, hunting and tinkering in his garage.

Surviving are his children, Dale (Sara) Taylor of Centennial, Colo., Kevin (Dawn) Taylor of Rushford, Sandra Taylor of Rushford, Pamela Taylor of Rushford, eight grandchildren, Maria Taylor, Amanda Outman, Dylan Taylor, Nicholas Gilchrist, Stacia Gilchrist, Sean Babbitt, Danica Long, Nicole Olson, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may gather from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Kopler-Williams Funeral Home 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore where a Masonic service will be held at 3:30 pm and a funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm. Jerry Clark Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in White Cemetery, Rushford.
