Thomas Oliver Beardsley Sr.

Short Tract --- Thomas Oliver Beardsley of 5314 Hall Road went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 30, 2025, in his home. He was born on July 7, 1950, in Fillmore, a son of the late John and Genevieve Voss Beardsley. On September 1, 1973, in the Short Tract Methodist Church he married Deborah Sonnleitner who survives.

Tom was the owner and operator of Tom Beardsley Construction in Short Tract from 1974 until his retirement in 1997.

He was an avid outdoorsman where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed visiting with his friends and family where he was always eager to share his faith in his savior, Jesus Christ, to anyone who would listen.

Surviving in addition to his wife are their children, Thomas (Kerri) Beardsley Jr. of Fillmore, Zebulin (Jaime) Beardsley of Short Tract, Jessica (Timothy) Walls of Reading, CA, Matthew Beardsley of Short Tract, 11 grandchildren, a brother, Robin Beardsley of Short Tract, two sisters, Linda Brandt of Fillmore, Cindy Perry of Short Tract and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Dale Beardsley, R. Paul Beardsley, and two sisters, Nancy Osborn and Brenda Mueckl.

Family and friends may gather from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Fillmore Fire Hall. Pastor Sam Wolcott will officiate. Burial with Military Honors accorded by the Dee Victor Thomas Post 1155 of Fillmore will be in Short Tract Cemetery, Short Tract.
