Short Tract --- Ashley L. Ellis of 10299 County Road 15 passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, February 7, 2022 in Wyoming County Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born on December 20, 1987 in Rochester, a daughter of Michael and Tina Kellaway Ellis. She was engaged to Joshua James who survives.
Ashley enjoyed crafting, raising her chickens and ducks, volunteering at the Short Tract Fire Hall, especially for their chicken barbecues and gun raffles, but most of all she loved her family.
Surviving in addition to her parents and fiancé are her children, Bentley James, Ryan James, Jackson James, Abigail James all at home, her siblings, Tara Ellis of Buffalo, Michael (Kelly Oliveri) Ellis II of Batavia, Amber (Joseph Gagne) Ellis of Nunda, James (Jenna) Ellis of Batavia, Charles (Heather) Ellis of Short Tract and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter Savannah James on July 5, 2009.
A private funeral service will be held at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore. Joel Stroud, pastor of the Hume Baptist Church, will officiate. A graveside service will be held on May 7, 2022 in Short Tract Cemetery at 11:00 am.
