Hunt --- Carol-Jean Smith of 11387 Weaver Settlement Road died Saturday, July 24, 2021 in her home. She was born on December 17, 1934 in Cleveland, OH, a daughter of the late Charles and Jean Myer Metzger. She married Bruce P. Smith who predeceased her on January 6, 2016.

Carol was the owner and operator of a nursery school which took place in the Greece United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed making all different types of crafts and being outside which included weeding and gardening.

Surviving are three sons, Scott Smith of Montville, OH, Brett Smith of Hunt, Todd (Kim) Smith of Enterprise, AL, three grandsons, Jeremey, Andrew (finance Lynn), Michael, one granddaughter, Caroline and two great-granddaughters, Brooklyn and Harley.

A private memorial service has not been planned yet.
