Geneseo --- Colleen Claud Sonnleitner of 5136 Maple Beach Road passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 in Noyes Memorial Hospital, Dansville. She was born on January 12, 1967 in Dansville, a daughter of the late Edward and Betsy Cullen Claud. She married her high school sweetheart, Michael Sonnleitner, who survives.
Colleen enjoyed watching the I.D. channel but most of all she was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother to her children, grandchildren and neighborhood children.
Surviving in addition to her husband are their children, Nathaniel (Shelbye Blake) Sonnleitner of Nunda, Phillip (Kate) Sonnleitner of Maddison, WI, Michaela (Kellie Fisher) Sonnleitner of Watertown, WI, two grandchildren, Tony Blake and Roman Sonnleitner, a sister, Paula Claud of Mt. Morris, a special niece, Makenzi (Zach) Claud-Powers of Mt. Morris, a great-nephew, Roger Thomas and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Edward Claud and Grandma Claud.
Family and friends may gather from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Pastor Rick Hepler will officiate. Burial will be in Hunt’s Hollow Cemetery, Hunt.
