Duane A. Bliss

Rushford --- Duane A. Bliss of 8611 County Road 49 went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, December 20, 2020 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born on November 1, 1951 in Cuba, a son of Malcolm D. and Marjorie J. Speta Bliss. He married Patricia M. Bushen who survives.

Duane was a graduate of Rushford Central School, a member of Rushford Baptist Church where he previously served as a trustee. He enjoyed participating in church activities, events in town, being outdoors, and going to auctions.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 33 years and his mother, Marjorie are his two daughters, Amy (Nathan) Hawley, Amanda (Jeffrey) LaCroix, 7 grandchildren, Genesis, Nathaniel, Gabriel, Moses, Magdalena, Alexis and Julia, a brother, Bruce (Priscilla) Bliss, a sister-in-law, Deborah Bliss and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father he was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth A. Bliss and beloved nephew James D. Bliss.

Family and friends may gather from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Rushford Baptist Church where a celebration of life will follow at 1:00 pm. Pastor Michael Welch will officiate. Burial will be in White Cemetery, Rushford. Please RSVP below to attend the celebration of life at 1:00 pm.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore.
