Obituary
Short Tract --- Jean A. Bentley of 10186 County Road 15 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 19, 2023 in the Livingston County Skilled Nursing Facility, Mt. Morris. She was born on July 14, 1937 in the town of Allen, a daughter of the late Ward and Harriett Burr Bentley Sr.
Jean was an avid vegetable gardener and also enjoyed reading, crocheting, shopping, puzzles, bird feeding and baking.
She was involved with the Short Tract Cemetery Association and volunteered with Food Link at the Short Tract Fire Department.
Surviving are her children, Terry (Lisa) Voss, Pamela Voss, Todd (Brenda) Voss, Tim (Pam) Voss, Tom (Tammy) Voss all of Short Tract, 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, a brother Doug Bentley of Short Tract, her companion, Gordon Wendt and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Ward Bentley Jr.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Short Tract Fire Hall, 10300 County Road 15, Short Tract. Burial will be in Short Tract Cemetery, Short Tract.
