Kathleen P. (Murray) Pangborn

Wiscoy --- Kathleen P. Pangborn of 11792 County Road 27 went home to be with her Lord and Savior after a long bought of COPD in Buffalo General Hospital. She was born on April 6, 1959, in Buffalo, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Patricia Sabourin Murray. She married Ronald Morlock who predeceased her in 2005. Later, on July 7, 2012, she married Rick Pangborn who survives.

Kathy was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Arcade and a retired RN working for Wyoming County Community Hospital and SASI in Chaffee.

She enjoyed rock picking, bird watching, gardening, knitting, crocheting, sewing, riding around in her all original 1999 35th Anniversary Ford Mustang, family get-togethers and most of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was very special and will be missed greatly.  

Surviving in addition to her husband are her 7 children and their spouses, 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren from Alaska to Florida and Japan, a sister, a brother and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her first husband and parents she was predeceased by a daughter, Melissa Morlock, a sister and a brother.

Family and friends may gather from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home where a small funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm. Tom Calzone, pastor of the Crossroads Church of the Nazarene will officiate.
