Fillmore --- Lynn C. Lilly, a former resident of Fillmore, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 23, 2024, in Wyoming County Community Hospital SNF, Warsaw. He was born on November 25, 1935, in Hume, a son of the late Joseph Reid and Alvira Wilcox Lilly. On June 2, 1956, he married Shirley May Wolfer who predeceased him on April 24, 2013.
Lynn was a graduate of Fillmore Central School, class of 1954, a member of the Caneadea Methodist Church and a former member of the Short Tract Grange. He was a full-time bus driver for 47 years.
Lynn loved camping with his family and enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre.
Surviving are his children, Petra Plant of Buffalo, Dennis (Donna) Lilly of Arcade, David Lilly of Geneva, OH, Thomas (Sharon) Lilly of Rochester, Joellen (Robert) Janusey of Eighty Four, PA, eight granddaughters, three great-grandchildren, a sister, Lorane Hubbard of Arcade and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a son-in-law, Alfred Plant and a brother-in-law, Robert Hubbard.
Family and friends may gather from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Monday, April 1, 2024, at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm. Rev. James Stevens, pastor of the Caneadea Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fillmore.
