Mary Lou (Randall) Anderson

Eagle --- Mary Lou Anderson of 2646 Genesee Road entered into the Lord’s rest on Saturday, February 5, 2022 in her home. She was born on August 7, 1930 in Buffalo, a daughter of the late Charles and Clara Stevens Randall. On February 2, 1949 she married David Anderson who predeceased her in 1983.

Mary Lou and David resided in the family farm in Arcade where they raised their five children. After her husband’s passing in 1983 she moved to Sebastian, FL where she would reside for 27 years after which time she returned to Arcade.

Mary Lou loved playing the piano and the accordion. She was always encouraging young people to learn how to play. She also enjoyed serving people and making them happy.

She loved God and brought her children to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Mary Lou served God every day of her life with the talents he gave her.

Surviving are her daughters, Sharon (David) Holtzclaw of Vero Beach, Florida, Caroline (Anthony) George of Bliss, Fay (William) Potter of Java Village, Brenda (Scott) Lons of Arcade, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, a sister, Carol Meirs and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a son, Paul Anderson, a grandson, Justin Potter, and six of her siblings.

A memorial gathering will be held at a date and time to be announced in July at the family pond. Burial will be in Arcade Rural Cemetery, Arcade.
