Hamlin --- Nathan “Nate” Adamowicz of 46 Greenridge Crescent passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ late Sunday evening, August 20, 2023. He was born on January 15, 1970, in Buffalo, a son of Stanley Adamowicz and the late Diana Adamowicz. In 2000, Nate married Shelly Arnold who survives.
Nate grew up with his family in Allegany County and graduated from Fillmore Central in 1988. After graduation, he joined the Marine Corps to serve our country, including taking part in Operation Desert Shield/Storm and a twenty-plus year owner and operator of Your Choice Lawn and Landscaping in the Rochester NY area.
Nate enjoyed watching/playing golf, cooking, and had a deep love for the Buffalo Bills. Most of all though, Nate loved spending time with his family and friends.
Nate was loved by so many people and touched so many hearts; he is already so very missed by all those who knew him.
Surviving in addition to his father and wife are his brothers, Matthew (Kristen) Adamowicz and Jeremy Adamowicz, six nephews and nieces, Casey, Jordan, McKenzie, Delaney, Jeffrey, and Tristan, the Baginski family, Aunt Mary, Uncle Larry and cousins Mark and Stephen, the Doyle family, Aunt Sylvia and cousins James, Colleen, Brian and Chris, as well as other extended family and the many devoted friends around the country.
In addition to his mother, Nate was predeceased by uncles, Charles Doyle, Arthur Wojcinski and Joseph Wojcinski and cousins, Michael Baginski and Tony Doyle.
A graveside service will be held on September 30, 2023 at 1:00 pm in Holy Cross Cemetery, Fillmore. Fr. John Cullen will officiate.
