Geneseo --- Phyllis R. Ludwig Bogardus of 202 Clayton Heights and a former resident of Nunda died Monday, March 30, 2020 in her home. She was born on February 29, 1936 in the Town of Grove, a daughter of the late Philip and Norma Maynard Isaman.
In loving memory of our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Phyllis was an extraordinary woman who loved fiercely. She dedicated her life to caring for her family, especially her grandchildren. Her kitchen was always open and you never left empty handed. Though her bold (maybe a little bossy) personality and sassy wit often took precedence she never hesitated to tell you how much she loved you. She remembered all of your accomplishments and forgot your mistakes. She left us with peaceful memories, her love as our guide; and though we can not see her, she is always by our side. Maybe one day we’ll find that place where we can be together. So smile for us one last time and believe we’ll meet again. Until then we’ll carry you in our hearts, forever loving you, from all of us.
Surviving are her children, Donna Grekalski of Frewsburg, Dale (Annie) Ludwig of Pittsford, Todd (Sis) Ludwig of LeRoy, her grandchildren, Joseph, Amber, Tara, Amanda, Amy, Emily, Stephen, Kimberly and Alicia, her great-grandchildren, Drew, Landyn, Riley, Bailey and baby Nothnagle, a sister, Shirley (Archie) Covert, a brother, Bradley (Pam) Isaman and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a grandson, Paul John Grekalski, a brother, Arland Isaman and a son-in-law, Paul Grekalski.
A memorial gathering will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.
Memorials if desired to the Garden Club of Nunda on behalf of Gram: Garden Club of Nunda, PO Box 259, Nunda, NY 14517
