Obituary

Angelica --- Robert H Evans of Angelica passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville. He was born on September 7, 1941 in Rochester.

Robert was a graduate of Irondequoit High School. He was a former Bureau of Fire dispatcher from 1976 to 1982 and a Sheriff’s Department dispatcher and corrections officer from 1975 to 1976. He also was a former hardware store clerk, former assistant photographer for Eastman Kodak, photo III Division, former owner and operator of Aerobatic Flight School, a licensed aircraft and power plant mechanic, a licensed commercial pilot and flight instructor and for 20 years he was the Justice of the Peace for the town and village of Angelica.

During his time working Robert became experienced in multiple areas including; general office work, data processing, computer operation, typing, filing, set up training programs for experienced dispatchers, training programs for new dispatchers and processed numerous pistol permits.

Robert loved wood working and was great at it. He was loved and respected and will be missed.

Surviving is a son, Michael Evans and a brother, David R. Evans.

Per Robert’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. Burial will be in Until the Day Dawn Cemetery, Angelica.
