Pike --- Robert L. Ferrin of 6874 Albro Road passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 in his home. He was born on October 28, 1937 in Centerville, a son of the late Clyde and Ruth Rees Ferrin. On November 2, 1957 in Centerville he married Carole Fowler who predeceased him on January 30, 2015.
Robert was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1955 to 1963 and was a former machinist for Lapp Insulators in LeRoy.
He was an avid reader and enjoyed carpentry, fishing, hunting, horses, playing euchre and most of all he loved his family.
Surviving are his children, Debra Raymond of Delevan, Tina (Tim) Rosenberg of Perry, Lori (Carl) McCready of Perry, Justin (Jackie) Ferrin of Bliss, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brother-in-law and best friend, Larry Fowler of Buffalo and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his beloved wife of 57 years and his parents he was predeceased by a son, Wade Ferrin, a grandson, Nathan Ferrin and his siblings, Rowena Gleason, Eugene Ferrin, Richard Ferrin and David Ferrin.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore. A Celebration of Life will follow the memorial service at the Ferrin Family Home.
