Fillmore --- Sharon M. Myers of 16 N. Genesee Street died Thursday, October 8, 2015 in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville. She was born on March 17, 1944 in the Town of Hume, a daughter of the late Melvin and Betty Cronk Miller. On March 30, 1963 in Hume she married David J. Myers who survives.
She was a graduate of Fillmore Central School, class of 1962, and a former employee of Craig Colony in Sonyea. She then went on to be the Director of the Creek Side ICF in Nunda. After retiring in 1999 she cleaned houses, helped old folks with their flowers and yardwork and was involved in Meals on Wheels.
Sharon was a 1st member of the Brooks Hose Aux. Sharon loved being with her grandchildren, working in her flower gardens and also loved to travel.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Heather (Tim) Beardsley of Fillmore, three grandchildren, T.J. (Karissa) Beardsley, Stephanie Beardsley, Lacey Beardsley, a sister, Linda (Paul) Roth of Fillmore and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may gather from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Centerville United Methodist Church. Pastor Bob Schooley will officiate.
