Fillmore --- Thomas L. Huey of 11048 Dugway Road passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 in Strong Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on May 31, 1940 in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, a son of the late James and Angeline McCloskey Huey. On December 2, 1961 in Mill Hall, PA he married Margaret Sorgen who survives.
Tom was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, riding ATVs, snowmobiling, motorcycles and most of all he loved riding in his classic cars. He also loved drinking coffee and his dog, Gabby.
Surviving in addition to his wife are their children, Jane Huey, Sharon (Tom) Lilly of Chili, Thomas (Beth) Huey of Fillmore, many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother and a sister.
Family and friends may gather from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore. A memorial classic car cruise will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 10:00 am starting at Kopler-Williams Funeral Home and will conclude at Alger Cemetery, Fillmore where a graveside service will follow. Craig Buelow, pastor of the Fillmore Northern KonXion church, will officiate.
