William J. Allen Jr.

Hume --- William J. Allen Jr. of 10950 Route 19 died Thursday, February 13, 2020 in his home. He was born on April 22, 1941 in Rochester, a son of the late William and Helen Manchester Allen Sr.        

He enjoyed putting puzzles together, cats, visiting with his daughter Sherry, his friends and making people around him laugh. Bill also was a self-employed handy man.

Surviving are his daughters, Sherry (Mike) Grayson of Rochester, Tammy Allen of Rochester, Kim Allen of North Carolina, Shavone Powless of Florida, 13 grandchildren, a sister, Robin (Steve) Gaudioso of Rochester, a brother, Robert Allen of Florida, a brother-in-law, Denton Rock of Syracuse, a special niece, Donnet (Jay) Rock of Fillmore and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by three sons, Daniel Allen, William Allen, Clint Allen, a sister, Carol Rock and a brother, Thomas Allen.

A memorial gathering will be held from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Riverside Cemetery Chapel, Rochester on Saturday, March 7, 2020 where a memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm and at the Fillmore Wesleyan Church (to be announced).
